Chu Kong 2nd Hand Shop has set up a Furniture Recycling Service with the aim of reducing the waste at source and helping people in need. Once the item has been collected, checking, refurbishment and replacement will be arranged.
We love to collect every item you donate, and we may refuse donation according to the demand of need, storage space and manpower arrangement.
In our company’s furniture and electrical appliance transfer program, recyclable furniture or electrical appliances must be in good condition and still usable, with acceptable wear and tear, normal operation and complete accessories, such as washing machines, microwave ovens and refrigerators, and their useful life must not exceed 7 years.
As for air conditioners, built-in furniture, furniture and electrical appliances that are specially customized in size, are over 8 feet in height, are obviously damaged, have been pre-disassembled, have incomplete accessories, and cannot operate properly, as well as all computers or electronic products or peripheral products including keyboards, Mouse, printer, fax machine, game console, photocopier, mobile phone, etc. will not be accepted.
Members of the public can WhatsApp the physical photos of the furniture, collection date and location information to the "Recycling Department", and the staff will charge based on the quantity and region of the furniture. After the collected furniture and electrical appliances are sorted, processed, inspected or even refurbished, some will be donated directly to families in need, while others will be resold at low prices in its second-hand stores. If the furniture is not suitable for transfer, you can also choose to quote a price for removal.
Adverse Weather Arrangement
When typhoon warning signal no. 8 or above, and red or black rainstorm warning is in force within 2 hours before the collection, the service will be cancelled and rearranged.
